What We Collect We aim to collect the minimum information necessary to provide the app’s functionality.

A) Information you provide in the app (stored on your device) • Recipes and saved items you create or store • “Staples” and ingredients lists • App preferences (e.g., unit settings) • Basic usage stats shown in-app (e.g., generated count, saved count, streak), stored locally

This information is saved on your device using Apple frameworks. We do not have access to it unless you share it with us (e.g., via support email).

B) Subscription/Paywall (Superwall) We use Superwall to manage paywalls and subscriptions. Superwall may collect device and interaction information to operate the paywall experience. C) Recipe Generation (OpenAI API) If you use the recipe generator, ingredient text you enter (and optional staples/servings preferences) may be sent to the OpenAI API to generate content. D) Diagnostics and crash data (if enabled on your device) If you opt in to share analytics/crash reports with Apple, Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymized crash/diagnostic information. We do not use this to identify you.

How We Use Information We use information to: • Provide and improve app features (e.g., generating recipes, saving recipes, managing staples) • Manage subscriptions/paywalls via Superwall • Display local stats to you (e.g., streaks, counts) • Respond to support requests you send us
Sharing and Disclosure We do not sell your personal information. We may share information: • With service providers (e.g., Superwall, OpenAI) to provide app functionality • To comply with law, legal process, or enforce our rights • With your consent or at your direction (e.g., if you share content externally)
Data Retention • Local data (recipes, staples, stats) is stored on your device until you delete the app or reset data via in-app options (if available). • Data sent to third-party services (e.g., OpenAI for generation, Superwall for subscriptions) is retained according to those providers’ policies.
Your Choices and Rights • You can delete local data by removing items in the app or uninstalling the app. • You can control whether to use the recipe generator feature. • You can request support or ask us to delete any support communications you’ve sent to us by contacting us at: [email protected] • For data processed by third parties (e.g., Superwall, OpenAI), please refer to their policies for requests and controls.
Security We use industry-standard security measures appropriate for our services. Data sent to third-party APIs is transmitted over HTTPS. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
International Users Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. By using the app, you consent to such processing.
